"Sbriciola", designed by Anna and Gian Franco Gasparini, is a practical breadboard for the Alessi kitchen but not only, with wide longitudinal slots and a compartment underneath that collects the crumbs that fall through the slots. This compartment is divided into two compartments: the smaller one is intended for storing the bread knife and is located under the part of the board that has no gaps; in this way it is protected from falling crumbs; the second compartment is the same size as the chopping board's slitted area and holds the crumbs from slicing the bread.
