Thonet / SET B9 / Side tables 4 pieces

Marcel Breuer's B 9 nesting tables included the nesting tables made of tubular steel from the design year 1925/26, which Thonet still produces in a revised version today. In Walter Gropius' Bauhaus building in Dessau, the B 9 side table was used in the canteen. Today it is finding its way into the living area, where it is a hit in different heights and colors that can be combined as desired.

Thonet began with the work of the cabinetmaker and builder Michael Thonet, who opened his first workshop in Boppard on the Rhine in 1819. With delicate and elegant chairs and by testing and applying new woodworking techniques, Michael Thonet achieved more than just regional fame. In 1853, Michael Thonet renamed the company Gebrüder Thonet.
